Hi!  I’m Amber.  I’m a Midwest-based lifestyle portrait and wedding photographer.

How did I get here?  My passion for photography grew at a very young age; one of my favorite childhood photographs is of myself at age five, holding a camera up to my face!  That passion intensified when I lived 1900 miles away from family, but I wanted to capture the joy of my (now) oldest daughter, Zoey, to share with friends and family.  My friends and family, in turn, started asking me to take photographs of them.  I soon learned that one of my happiest places is behind a lens.  I pursued my passion for photography by attending the New York Institute of Photography and continued to grow my business and clientele over the years.

I feel like photography is a way to allow stillness at any given moment in time.  I want my images to reflect real life, so my style deliberately molds and adjusts to the moment we are in.  I want my photographs to feel timeless and to speak volumes when words are not even spoken.

I live in Lincoln, Nebraska, with my kiddos (I've been blessed with five amazing kiddos), my pup, and three cats.  I love to travel, and no place is too far for me to meet you for your wedding or engagement session.  

I am obsessed with my kiddos, travel, and photography (all a given).  But also obsessed with education and learning (both with photography and business standpoint); along with my photography certification, I also have a bachelor’s in human resource management from Bellevue University and am currently in Grad School for my MBA.  I adore consulting and helping individuals and businesses reach their highest potential.

My love languages are Words of affirmation, Quality time, and physical touch.  I’m an empath to my core, and building and maintaining relationships are so very important to me.  Building our memories in this lifetime is one of my greatest passions, and I would be honored to help capture yours.
